Silverwood Fun!

Silverwood was so much fun!! Two years from now Sawyer will be old enough to be able to get a season pass!! I am so excited!! I love this place! It's the closest thing we have to a decent theme park! The water park is worth ever bit though!! This is before our train ride. The kids were excited because it was their first train ride.
This is Bogey Mine. It was a stop halfway on the the train ride and 2 men came out and acted out a scene about finding gold and silver and then they proceeded to "rob" the train so we all had to put our hands up and give them money if we wanted to( the money that was given was to go to Make a Wish foundation :) The received 30,000 last year doing this) Jarrin and Keeley were kind of freaked out though until we told them that we weren't really getting robbed! It was cute!
Keeley loved the ride and just enjoyed the scenery.
They also have a Bison ranch that we passed. It was so cute seeing the baby Bison.
They also had real Teepee's set up. That was cool. Jarrin asked were all the Indians were! I told him they were hunting the Bison, then he asked if they got any :) hahaha! He laughed once he knew I was kidding.

Jarrin and Keeley saw this ride first and we had to go on it first after the train ride to get it out of the way!

Brad and his pose on the merry-go-round, he might kill me if he knows I posted this one :) He was copying Keeley's pose :)hahahaha, I love you hun!
Keeley and I on the Umbrella ride! It is quite a tummy tickler and I thought she might cry as it was the first ride we went on that was somewhat scary for a little kid. She was a champ! She loved it, Jarrin didn't want anything to do with it, but then again he is our super safety boy. He liked the rides that keep you closer to the ground :)
Keeley loved the plane ride but she liked the umbrella ride better because she liked her tummy to tickle really bad:)
Jarrin loved the plane ride!
Mommy and son on the train ride:)
Daddy and Keeley behind us on the kiddie roller coaster. It was fun for Jarrin but Keeley thought it was lame! Brad wanted to take her on a bigger one but I didn't let him because she is so small that her head would hurt from getting thrashed around. He agreed and we decided that she can go next year when she's taller. Those roller coasters can really thrash a little head around! They thrash my big head around :)
I finally convinced Jarrin that the Ferris Wheel wasn't scary. So we got on and he started to cry before we even moved !!! Once we started moving he laughed and said"this isn't scary at all!!" I want to go on this ride a ton of times!! What a funny boy! He was our easy rider. He wanted nothing to do with the fast moving rides or any of the tummy tickle rides:)
The teacups! Jarrin hated this ride the first time he went on it, but after the water park time we went back and he decided he'd go on it again and he loved it. he went on it about 3 more times while Keeley and I were enjoying another wild ride! (she was definitely the wild ride girl)
On our way out we let them have there gigantic loli-stick thing :) They were thrilled. You can tell by the huge cheesy grins!
Jarrin's pet Dragon he won by popping a balloon with a dart. Keeley won one also! It was a great day!! Thanks so Nana and Papa Brown!!
Once I get our water camera film developed I'll post all the fun water pictures! I hope the ones going down the water slide turned out good! Guess we'll see soon!

we went to Silverwood last week too for a family reunion and had a blast. We did the train ride in the afternoon and it put all of my kids to sleep, so we got to relax for a while too.

Looks like you guys had so much fun! Yay for Silverwood! That waterpark there is really awesome and I always forget about the train ride since we haven't done that part in forever, but how fun for the kiddos!
