Letting them go

Okay, so how many of you have sat back and watched a big or little disaster unfold because your child or children are trying to do something themselves? Well it was just a small funny one today as my friend Calie and her family where here getting haircuts and eyebrow waxes. We looked out the window because Calie is laughing and she pointed at the kids trying to put sunscreen on (or as Keeley would say sun "scream") So we continued while we watched the kids slim themselves with it leaving a nice white layer all over them, not to mention the oil splatters left over from the globs and globs of sunscreen that dropped on the porch! Oh the joys !!

I can't wait for that! I probably should stop buying the spray kind or I might have kids go blind!! Nice that they thought to put it on :)

Aviendha helped me make peanut butter granola the other day. Yeah, it was pretty funny when she realized after I put things in the measuring cup she could dump it in. Lets just say she started putting anything in the cup so she could dump it into the bowl. Good thing it didn't make it into the bowl!

yah the other day I let Mikey drive my car and go grocery shopping. Nah I know what you mean and I just let him go more than I should.

That is so funny. I love the big white spots that they leave behind just because it takes too long to rub it all in. It's good that they were thinking about putting sunscreen on. I have the spray on kind and my kids love it too.

Yes that was pretty funny. I am glad you just let them go. I was swimming this weekend and guess what Isaac did? Yep...put on his own sunscreen and it totally made me think of your kids and I too just let him go. He was a little frustrated though because he got some in his eyes....blast I hate it when that happens.
