Thoughts...

Well I am not surprised at the outcome of the election. I was shocked at how many people never researched on their own for the truth outside the media and newspapers.
On Prop 8, I am saddened by the unclean moral issues that are more gladly accepted in society these days that have never been accepted by God, and how those of us who disagree with those bad moral issues are considered "haters". I like the saying " Love the sinners, hate the sin" and that's what I feel. I am sooooo glad that Prop 8 passed, but it was so close! How scary! But IT DID PASS!!!Brad found some scriptures last night and wanted me to share them.

2 Nephi Chapter 32 v. 7
And now I, Nephi, cannot say more; the Spirit stoppeth mine utterance, and I am left to mourn because of unbelief, and the wickedness, and the ignorance , and the stiffneckedness of men; for they will not search knowledge, nor understand great knowledge, when it is given unto them in plainness, even as plain as word can be.

But behold, I say unto you that ye must pray always, and not faint; that ye must not perform any thing unto the Lord save in the first place ye shall pray unto the Father in the name of Christ, that he will consecrate thy performance unto thee, that thy perfomance may be for the welfare of thy soul.

2 Nephi Chapter 31 v. 20

Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have Eternal Life.


I have a strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and in his"Plan of Salvation". I am so very thankful for all that My Family and I have been blessed with and all that we will be blessed with! I have Hope and Faith that if we do all that is required, and more, of the Lord that he will always be on our side! I believe that we are watched over in all aspects of our life if we let God be in control! Just as he is in control now.I believe that we are held responsible for the choices we make and we have to suffer the consequences of our choices.I know and I pray that Brad and I will continue to do everything that we know how to teach and help our family stay strong to be able to fight off the evils that are becoming more and more tolerated in this world. I have such an unbelievable love for my Savior Jesus Christ and for my Heavenly Father. I also have that same love for my Family , Brad, the man whom I am blessed to spend Eternity with that is strong in the Gospel and is able to use the blessings of the Priesthood in our home and our 3 children, Jarrin, Keeley and Sawyer, for their strong and valiant spirits that brighten and lift my spirit every day!! They are truly meant for the last days!! What great souls to have here on this earth!! My Family brings me more Joy and Happiness than I could ever imagine!! I am so thankful to be able to be a Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister and a Friend ! I have Hope and Faith that all will be well if we just follow the commandments and do what is right and be the example to others that Jesus is to all of us!! I love you all and hope you will be blessed with Hope and Faith even when things seem dark and unsure. We have so many blessing and this is the most perfect time to reflect on those things!

I look at these times like a tree of good and evil people that has just been shaken up more. The division between righteous and unrighteous is becoming more obvious. The good hold on tight and the bad just let go easily and fall. There are becoming less and less people that are sitting on the fence. You need to choose which side to be on! Always make good choices!! It's not the end yet so enjoy this Free Country and remember that it is still a blessing to live here. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
