Here we go!

So it's been a crazy busy year so far and this week we are now getting ready for school to start! I can't believe that I have a child Kindergarten! Jarrin is so excited for next week and so am I! It's also been a very sad week as our great friends (who we consider family) their little 3 year old girl is in the Hospital in Spokane because she has what they call HUS, which is an illness that is caused by either a specific E. coli bacteria , Shigella or Salmonella. It's been horrible for them and my great friend Holly is just in tears over what the possible outcome will be. She could either recovery fine and bounce right back or she will have kidney failure and will need Kidney dialysis as a temporary thing or if her kidney continues to fail...permanent and then of course the worst of all...well you know. They say 60% recover just fine, so we have all been praying hard that she is in that 60% ! Her family and all of us friends have great faith that all will be well!
It's so hard to even think as a parent what might happen in situations like these! It breaks my heart to see someone going through something like that, especially since I know them so well! I believe it is one of the worst things ever as a parent to know your kids are not well and there is nothing you can do to fix it! Shouldn't Mother's have a potion or something? Yeah it would be nice but it's not a part of God's plan! Darn:) Well we'll see what happens! If you remember....please keep little Clara in your prayers! Thanks!

On a different note .... I can't wait to get those first day of school pictures !! At least he's not old enough to be embarrassed about me snapping pictures yet!
