A Day at the Scofields

Last Monday we were invited to our friends house ( Nicole and Ryan ) to go have a family day with them!! It was great fun! They have a pond with some fish in it, so we went fishing for a little while and then went on the paddle boat! The kids had a blast and so did the adults!! The best part was when we went huckleberry pickin'! Brad and I brought our 2 Quad runners and our other friends had theirs. It went better than I expected! I had Sawyer in the Moby wrap in the front of me and Keeley was holding on behind me and Brad had Jarrin on his and everyone else was layered with kids on theirs also, but we 4 wheeled up the mountains onto a forestry road and then onto a trail until we got the the pickin' spot. It was a 45 minute ride and the kids did great, Sawyer slept the whole way and Keeley and Jarrin kept yelling WHOO HOO! It was the best ride!! Then we went back for dinner! I love living where there are so many outdoor options!!

When we got back I was unloading the quad runner and looked around to find Keeley with the horses. These horses are the neighbors that come onto their property a lot and graze their fields. I didn't know how they would react to her, but she went right up with no fear and mauled the horses( as much as you can with such a big mammal) I often refer to her as Elmira( the girl on Looney Tunes that has so much love and passion towards animals that she practically mauls them to death) Well that is Keeley! She is so passionate and has so much love that she can't contain it very well! So if there is an animal in her path...WATCH OUT!!

She's going to be a Veterinarian we are guessing!
