So we actually carved the pumpkins more than a week before Halloween! That's a first! HA! You can see Mr. Sawyer man in the background smiling away. What you don't know is that he is contemplating what to get into first and how he can manage to get a hold of one of the carving saws.
Sawyer thought it was cool but really didn't want anything to do with the pumpkin guts.
Keeley was laughing the whole time gutting the pumpkin because of her goofy brother.
See, I told you he was looking. He has one of the pumpkin carving tools in his hand!
And now he has the saw! He loves being involved with what all of the big kids are doing! We let him cut some of the guts with it(supervised of course).
Then there's Jarrin, hehehe. Keeley was in hysterics watching Jarrin play and joke around with the guts and such.
Jarrin and Keeley wanted create and cut the pumpkins all by themselves. The gutting, drawing, and the carving. They only requested help on a few things that didn't seem to want to cut out right.
Pumpkin carving is hard work that takes a lot of concentration :D
Sawyer wanted a picture taken of him. He loves to see the picture on the camera screen right after I take it.
So what started out as just eyes, nose and a mouth turned into hair, ears, eyebrows and cheeks. I love it! They did such a great job!
I Love all the Halloween fun!
