A Big Dose of Family Fun in October

We decided to go feed the ducks and Geese one last time before most of them move out for the winter. It was still pretty warm when we went.

Sawyer tried to touch them, but they weren't having it.
Keeley laughs everythime they eat it from thier hands.
Sawyer loved it when they ate it from his hands too. It was an exciting thing everytime!! To be a kid again.

Jarrin tried to "pet" them when they ate it from his hands. Goofy boy!
Sawyer fell in so we had to wrap him in a jacket when we went to have our "treat" at Gooey's.
Sawyer's eyes were HUGE when he saw the huckleberry sundae  land right in front of him.
We ate that up in no time between the 5 of us! It was yummy!
We also got to enjoy a field trip to Carver Farms with a huge group of K-12 home schoolers.
We went through the corn maze first . The kids loved it!

Then we got to go on a hay ride pulled by a tractor out to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins and gourds.

Then I tried to get a good picture of the kids. You see how that went :D It was funny and entertaining to say the least.

Sawyer was getting into the decorations. He wanted to eat the corn.
A few days after the Carver Farms adventure, I decided to take Jarrin and Keeley to Greenbluff to another Fall festivity. Brad was hunting and Sawyer was napping and being spoiled by Nana and Papa.
We picked out pumpkins. Jarrin was thrilled that he picked out such a tall, huge one. He wasn't so thrilled when he tried to carry it!

They wanted the job of pulling the cart of pumpkins. They are cute slaves aren't they ;)
They also "HAD" to go on the Wiggle Worm train ride. It is so fun for them. It takes them around the apple fields and whips them around.

Of course we HAD to enjoy a carmel apple too. Mmmmmm.
Keeley is such an animal lover. She pet this pony until it was her time.
They both took their turns on the pony ride. This is also a MUST when we come here.

Then we ended with the maze. This is the first time they have done this maze and they had a blast.
They ended the maze with a huge slide which they went on multiple times!
It was fast and they litterally rolled out. It was a good thing they had a pad on the ground at the bottom!
Then there's halloween. A fairy, racecar driver and our pirate!
The kids were ALL sick on Halloween so we just got dressed up for about an hour and went trunk or treating at the church parking lot and went home.
Sawyer had to rest and hang out inthe back of Papa's truck at the end and see what he could munch on.

It was a fun October!! So much we got to do and I love the bonding that happens in our family with all the traditions that we have!
