It's Too Quiet...Where's Sawyer??

Being a  hairdresser is great. The only downfall......keeping an eye on all the kids all the time. It's just impossible. Jarrin and Keeley are great helpers..BUT..I don't require or demand that they watch him every second I am busy. Would I like it if they did?...of course...but they are still just kids being kids.

So as I was highlighting my clients hair..I remember thinking...I should ask how the kids are doing. "Jarrin, Keeley, how are you doing out there? How's Sawyer?" "Great Mom". It was awful quiet but I thought that they actually looked around to see if Sawyer was there. Minutes later, Keeley comes in saying"Mom...look at Sawyer" Sawyer gladly came in to show me why he was so quiet. He says to me "Mommy look, I do my mohawk." As I touch the "stuff"  I feel and smell to figure out what it was. It wasn't my hair product, it kind of smelled like diaper cream but all the diaper cream was out of reach. So, like a great Mom that I am I just had him stay there so I could grab the camera and take a few shots. Hey! It was funny! He had the cream right were a mohawk would have been. Then, after a few shots, I asked him "Hey sweetheart, where did you make your mohawk? Can you show me?" "Okay Mommy", as he leads me to his room. He pointed behind his changing table, I pulled the table away from the wall and sure enough, on the floor, the blankets, all the sheets, and on him,of course,  was diaper cream. He apparently learned to climb up the changing table and onto his shelf that is next to it! Little bugger!

Oh how Sawyer makes our lives so fun and adventurous!

Bryson would get the diaper rash cream out and put it all over his skin like lotion. For some reason diaper rash cream is the stuff every kid uses.

Oh my goodness! Bless his heart! I love that you took a time out and grabbed the camera. Those pictures are priceless.
