Something to Keep you Updated

So I have a  lot of pictures to post BUT I just don't have the time right now! We began school on Sept 1st. It's been a roller coaster to start with but today gave me hope and happiness. We are in  our routine and the kids got done with all their school work by lunch time so we get to play and I can clean up things and so on!

We didn't really have that much of a summer, as I would've hoped, but it was a great break non the less. We had some great visits with some friends from Oregon and got to play with them. The kids got to go on the zip line at their house. We did quite a bit of fishing and hiking and of course we did our usually berry picking days. As hard as home schooling can be, I am so happy to be back in a routine again and teaching my children. I try to keep a routine in the summer but all my hair appointments make it too difficult. My kids are happier with a schedule/ routine even when they say the don't like it. Kid are funny that way.

I am starting on my Christmas quits and I just got my squares back for an eye-spy quilt. I am seriously excited about it too. The kids will LOVE looking at all the fun squares! I can't wait to start their clothes and extras too.

I am hoping sometime this year to get my kiddos over to the Seattle zoo and Aquarium but we'll see.

Brad has been working SO hard to get his Insurance and Financial business up and running with a good client base so he can officially quit massage. It is a stressful and draining time for him. The business is hard because there is a lot of foot work that can take a while and then people don't want to follow through, but when they do it's great. Just the joys of work. He is excited for hunting season coming up. He will get to enjoy his outdoor time and bring home some food. What a great man I married!! I sure got it right the 2nd time!! Thank goodness for that!

Sawyer is into EVERYTHING!!!! seriously.. and he can't sit still for more than 5 minutes unless Willy Wonka or Wizard of Oz is on. Weird I know. That's life though. He is so inquisitive and has to be apart of and into it all. He has the biggest kissy lips. He reminds of the frog on frog princess when he goes to kiss the princess. They stick out so far! Our family gets the biggest kick out of it! I love that little guy. Even if he seems bi polar which makes u s feel bi polar. hehe. That's a learning, growing 2 year old for you though. I love his super sweet hugs and his " I love you SO much" that he says to us all. What a little piece of Heaven.

Keeley is in 2nd grade this year and she worked really hard to get there. she gets to start Dance classes again next week and I can't wait to see her grow more. She has gotten so smart and is sweeter than ever! She has quite a few laughs, which reminds me of Naomi when she was young. She is so quick to help and to behave if she isn't. She is tuned in to all around her and if there is anything bad being sung on the radio or movie she is so quick, before my brain can even process it, to say TURN IT, turn it!! I love it and I love her and her passion for life.

Jarrin is  doing so well in Jiu Jitsu and he is going to be in another tournament this weekend. He is also in 2nd grade and is doing great! He is such a fun brother for Sawyer {yeah, him and Keeley know how to irritate each other} and with Keeley, most of the time. He is entertaining and quite a funny boy. I love that he has so much concern and love for those around him and wants to make sure everyone is okay.I love him and his huge smile!!

I really just love and adore my family. I am so thankful that we get to be eternal. I would be so sad if we weren't.  I hope we get to stay together for a long time in this lifetime too. So here's a little update on the family and I will post up pictures soon.
