Silverwood Trip

We took our only trip to Silverwood in the middle of September. It wasn't very hot or cold so it was lovely although we decided not to go on any water rides because then we would have been freezing.Jarrin and Keeley got to choose most all of the rides we went on. It was a day of play for them. We started at the airplanes while I stood in line for the umbrella ride.

Jarrin wouldn't go on the umbrella ride last year  no matter how much we tried to convince him it wasn't scary. This year he decided to be brave and try it.

My sweet Jarrin boy and I. I acually got a shot without a tongue sticking out of his mouth
He REALLY liked it. He said he wanted to ride on it all day. He did this with most of the rides we had to talk him into going on. He was so worried that every ride would scare him to death but then absolutely loved them.
Jarrin and Brad had a BLAST on the bumper cars while I was standing in line for some seriously desired cotton candy for the kids for the first time ,which they ended up hating.( I am okay with that) :)
Keeley was daring and went on the Corkscrew roller coaster with Brad. Jarrin wanted no part in it so he and I went to another ride. While we were on the ride, we saw Brad coming back with Keeley in his arms crying. She said she would never go on a roller coaster again. Towards the end of the trip though, she asked to go on that crazy ride where your feet dangle and you go around and upside down and to the top and then do it all backwards again. Crazy girl! She was too short though so she settled for the kid roller coaster with Jarrin.

We had a blast. It'll be pure craziness fun next year when Sawyer can join us. Hopefully he won't go through such a crazy "I NEED A NAP" time.  It was a fun way to end the summer.
