I get to do WHAT!!!!
Okay so I know that this isn't a big deal for some but for me it is! So,I already got asked to take over a lesson for Relief Society this week(which is fine) and as I was preparing for my lesson who do you know called us....the 1st Counselor of the Bishopric, and what do we get to do on Sunday....A TALK!! I thought being completely out of my comfort zone for one lesson was bad enough, but lucky me I get to be blessed with the opportunity to speak 2 times on 1 Sunday! I'm far from upset though. I am just nervous beyond belief right now! YIKES!! I had to ask him if he had Youth speakers , an intermediate hymn and if the choir was going to sing :) hehe! Brad knew I was nervous because I was giggling like crazy(an obvious sign) So that is our fun for the week!

Oh wow.... I'd be having a bit of a hard time too. Good luck! But knowing your personality... you'll do just fine!
Best of luck to you. I don't mind giving lessons, but speaking is a lot more stress. If you are the first speaker then you can always leave more time for the second.!
Brooke, the funny thing is I love to chit chat and talk in small groups but I have such a horrible time if it is more than 5 people!! I totally get nervous and I can't see or think straight! I taught the beehives and that made me nervous! Funny huh? I know everyone that knows me is thinking the same thing because I talk a lot:) hehe. I feel bad for the people who have to hear me twice!
talking makes me nervous too... I know how you feel.. you will do great.
I get really nervous giving talks in church and all too. I don't like the fact that I am nervous the whole week drives me nuts. I think you guys will do a good job though. Good luck.
ohh man we just gave a talk last month so I know how you feel. I'm sure you will do great and remember to bring your husband up at least once for extra bonus points (my husband loves that)j/k of course!
oh yay! i wish i could be there to hear the talks. Let me know how it goes. What are the talks on? I would be bad for you but I gotta teach in relief society 2 sundays a month. lol. Love you!
You will do great!.....but I say: "Yikes" too! I hate talking in front of a bunch of people! I think I would freak out too! If you feel like the nerves are getting the best of you (like they would to me) you could always ask your hubby for a priesthood blessing. :) Good luck! :)
